Dr. Engel graduated from the FSU College of Medicine in 2016. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology with Orlando Health. Between 2019 and 2020, she was their Academic Chief Resident for obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Engel is married to Dr. Adam J. Engel, a radiologist and fellow FSU graduate. They are the proud parents of twin girls.
