What to Know About the New Pregnant Workers Fairness Act
The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) is a
Allie was born and raised in Tallahassee. She moved to Florence, Alabama where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of North Alabama. After graduating, she moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, to begin her career in women’s health as a labor and delivery nurse at Ochsner Baptist Medical Center. After six months there, she returned to her hometown of Tallahassee after accepting a position as a labor and delivery nurse at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. While working nightshift at TMH, she received her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She holds a Board Certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC).
After five years of working in labor and delivery, Allie is thrilled to be joining the North Florida Women’s Care team and continuing her love for women’s health. She holds memberships in Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing.
In her free time, Allie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hunting, and spoiling her two Labrador Retrievers, Busch and Beau.
