The providers of North Florida Women’s Care support the advancement of students in the healthcare industry. Over the years, they have welcomed many future physicians and mid-level providers to observe our patient care services. As such, the demand for observation and education exceeds the availability. Students requesting this opportunity must apply for review and approval. 

Please also be aware that because of the high volume of requests received by Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, they have limited students’ amount of OR observation time. Each student is allowed one seven-day OR observation period per year, with these days running consecutively. These limits are outside the control of North Florida Women’s Care.
