Doctors’ Memorial Hospital and North Florida Women’s Care held a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday, July 18, to celebrate the opening of Taylor County’s new gynecology clinic. Beginning July 18, Dr. Amy Haddock of North Florida Women’s Care will now travel to Perry to provide gynecology services at Doctors’ Memorial Hospital select days each month.
“I’ve always been passionate about improving access to women’s health care for rural and underserved communities,” said Dr. Haddock. “So I’m excited to be part of this growth for Taylor County.”
Dr. Haddock’s clinic space is located on the campus of Doctors’ Memorial Hospital at 333 N Byron Butler Pkwy, Perry, FL 32347. She will see patients at this location select days during July, August and September. Beginning in October, she will see patients at this location every other Thursday.
“We are thrilled to bring the convenience of a local clinic to the women and families of Taylor County,” said Doctors’ Memorial Hospital Interim CEO Lauren Faison-Clark. “This addition to our services significantly improves access to health care for our community.”
Dr. Haddock graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in biology from the University of West Florida in 2007. She then attended The Florida State University College of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Upon graduation from FSU, she attended residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville in the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Haddock has been a member of the North Florida Women’s Care team since 2017.
