Black Maternal Health Week is recognized each year
Leah Bowler, APRN, MSN, WHNP-BC, joined our team in March 2022. She is a skilled nurse practitioner with a kind demeanor. Watch her video below to get to know her better!
Leah is originally from Huntsville, Alabama. She earned a bachelor’s degree in health promotion from the University of Georgia. She earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in nursing from Emory University. During her time in Georgia, she worked as a healthy living coach and mentor at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, as a midwife assistant at Atlanta Birth Center, and as a public health intern at Women’s Healthcare Associates in Athens.
She went on to gain experience in obstetrics, gynecology and primary care while working at Clinic for Women in Huntsville, Alabama, and Women’s Healthcare Associates in Athens, Georgia, both in 2020. In 2021, she was a nurse practitioner for another OB/GYN practice here in Tallahassee.
Leah is a huge Georgia football fan (Go Dawgs!). In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and cat.
We are very excited she decided to join the NFLWC family and be a part of your care team! Leah sees patients for gynecology appointments.
