Geami Britt, MD

Geami Britt, MD, joined North Florida Women’s Care in July 2021. Before her move to Tallahassee, Dr. Britt lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she worked at Novant Health Providence OBGYN from 2019 to 2021.

Dr. Britt completed her residency with the University of South Alabama’s Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Mobile. She received many accolades during her residency, including Best OB/GYN resident per Medical Students, Best Teaching Resident, the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Award and the Maternal/Fetal Medicine Award, among others.

She received her doctorate from the Florida State University College of Medicine. During her time at FSU, she worked as a clinical anatomy teaching assistant, an academic tutor and a referee for men’s and women’s intramural basketball. For her undergraduate studies she attended Okaloosa Walton College and Campbell University, where she played Division I women’s college basketball. 

Dr. Britt’s hometown is Campbellton, Florida, which is less than 90 miles west of Tallahassee. She loves spending time with her family on their farm, which has been in their family for more than 80 years. 

Dr. Britt is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association. She is accepting patients for both gynecology and obstetrics.
