We are pleased to offer telehealth for select appointment types. To schedule a telehealth appointment, you may call our scheduling department at 850-877-7241 to see if your medical needs are eligible for this form of care.

If you are scheduled for a telehealth appointment, you will receive confirmation and reminder messages with a link to join your appointment when it’s time. Follow the steps below to prepare for and join your appointment via computer or mobile device.

Quick Steps to Prepare

  • Find a private, quiet place to sit for the duration of the visit (typically less than 30 minutes).
  • Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal where you are sitting (or ethernet cable, if using a computer).
  • Close other programs or apps.
  • Make sure your camera and microphone are working. 
  • We recommend that you click the link to the pre-appointment device check and perform the workflow to ensure that your intended device and browser will work during your visit.

“Arriving” For Your Telehealth Visit

  • You do not need to download an app or log in to your Patient Portal account to participate in a telehealth visit. Simply follow the steps in the confirmation and reminder messages you receive to join your appointment via computer or mobile device. These confirmation and reminder messages will be sent via email or text message, depending on your preferred contact method.
  • We recommend that you join 5-10 minutes before your appointment time.
  • When prompted, enter your name.
  • When you join the online visit, you will enter a private virtual waiting room until a practice member joins the call, at which point you will automatically enter the call. 
  • Please do not multi-task during your appointment (walk your dog, care for children, type, do chores, run errands).
  • Please refrain from answering other calls during your visit. 


We recommend that you join 5-10 minutes before your appointment time. Do not panic if your provider does not join exactly on time for your visit; just like with regular office visits, they are seeing other patients before you whose appointments may run a few minutes over. We apologize if there is a brief delay.
