North Florida Women’s Care and Campus USA Credit Union are sponsoring a tobacco-free student art contest in conjunction with Tobacco Free Leon and the Leon County chapter of Students Working Against Tobacco.

The contest is open to students grades 1-12. Top prize is $100.

Deadline for submitting artwork in person or by postal mail is Jan. 18.

The complete address to submit artwork by postal mail is: North Florida Women’s Care, 1401 Centerville Road, Suite 105, Tallahassee, FL 32308.

“When people free themselves from tobacco addiction, our physicians see significant improvements to their overall health,” says North Florida Women’s Care CEO Bill Hambsh. “We want children to learn the benefits of a tobacco-free lifestyle while they are young, in hopes that they will never pick up the habit.”

Tobacco Free Leon partners will judge the artwork on Jan. 24 to determine winners in each of three divisions: elementary (grades 1-5), middle (grades 6-8) and high (grades 9-12).
